Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Design Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing nuclear systems, components, and structures to meet project requirements and regulatory standards. You will collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that address complex engineering challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed design and analysis of nuclear systems, components, and structures.
- Develop engineering specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Conduct engineering calculations and simulations to validate design concepts.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure project requirements are met.
- Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in nuclear design engineering, preferably in the nuclear industry.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ANSYS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of nuclear regulatory requirements and standards is a plus.
