Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance services for nuclear power plants, construction projects, and decommissioning activities. You will work closely with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects and the safe operation of nuclear facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for nuclear power plants, construction projects, and decommissioning activities.
- Conduct field inspections, tests, and evaluations to assess equipment performance and identify potential issues.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective solutions to technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Provide training and guidance to site personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in field engineering, preferably in the nuclear industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of nuclear systems, components, and equipment.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel and work in various locations as required.
